Does anyone else have any experience or ideas regarding bot-view attack prevention?ĭon't know if YT did something for you or not, here is my experience sharing. My channel is almost at 100k and I can't stomach the idea of it all being deleted because some losers decided to mess with my channel. The 'Fake Engagement Policy' is somewhat unclear about what will happen, since they don't specifically mention what happens when you're the target of an attack. All I can do is sit here and wait for YouTube to decide my fate.
But I feel really helpless because I don't know what to do now. I already demonetized the videos with lots of bot views to try to mitigate the potentially issues with AdSense. YouTube said they have a team investigating the issue, but what do I do now? I contacted YouTube Creator Support and filed an Invalid Click form on AdSense. It looks like an organized bot-attack (aka clickbomb) on my channel, probably with the hopes of getting my channel deleted. These views have produced ZERO likes, comments, and other engagement metrics. Over the past 2 weeks, I've been gaining MILLIONS (yes, millions) of suspicious looking views across lots of my videos.
